RACE was produced under the banner Universal Asset18 episodes of RACE were telecast on Kairali TV, Kerala. The organization had recruited a team of qualified youngsters to disseminate the programme in the field. Anandan conducted a series of experiential workshops for the resource team and equipped them with the necessary pedagogic skills to transact the lessons in RACE. The programme was launched in the high school classes of 29 schools under Cochin corporation. In the backdrop of this all English teachers under the Corporation who were brought under this programme were oriented on how to use RACE in the classroom for facilitating language acquisition.
Students of the project schools were able to produce their own discourses in English.
In the consecutive years RACE was taken up by several schools across the state with the resource support of Universal Asset under the leadership of Anandan.
