During the years 2003 to 20011 Anandan was extending his service to SCERT Andhra Pradesh (Prior to the bifurcation of the state). Already he had helped RVMSSA to build up a resource team in English for the state. He had also led the resource team to develop learner’s materials and teacher support material that fall under the umbrella of constructivist paradigm. The learner’s materials reached the schools. Nevertheless, they were not used as the teacher’s companion that should go along with them did not reach the hands of the teachers.
The state curriculum of AP was revised and new textbooks and teacher support materials for the classes 1 to 10 were developed and implemented in the state in a phased manner. Anandan rendered his service as the editor of the new textbooks in classes 1 to 10. Prof AL Khanna and Ramakant Agnihotri were his co-editors. Source books for the classes 1 to 10 were developed under the academic leadership of Anandan.
